After a departure from Prague, we arrived in Vienna mid-day. We went to the Schonbrunn Castle via U-Bahn. We could not take pictures inside, so, we took a walk in the outside to the Grand Parterre, the Neptune Fountaine and Orangerie. In the evening, we had a concet at the Musikverein; Prokofjew Romeo and Julia and a violin concert with soloist Janine Jansen with her Cremona 1727 Stradivari. To conclude the concert, Brahms Symphonie Nr.2. The orchestra was the Muncherner Philharmoniker conducted by Lorin Maazel… an unforgettable Viennese evening!
